This class uses a mix of techniques from weight-bearing exercises, to isometrics, core-building, stretching and limbering poses. It combines the best of these fitness philosophies into a single, one-hour class that will leave the student feeling stronger, more flexible, with lean muscle definition and improved posture. Studies have indicated that the use of this variety of styles can also boost metabolism and calorie-burning beyond aerobics.
The class is for all ages and abilities.
A brief cardio warmup is followed by a set of isometric movements that incorporates both Pilates and Yoga. Hand weights are incorporated to get the benefits of weight-bearing exercise. Next up are “anti-aging” moves that help fire up the metabolism, improve muscle tone and definition, and help to align proper posture. The class ends with deep stretches, using bands and straps, to ensure that the muscle mass that is being built is also limber and flexible. Read Lynne's Bio.
Before I sign off I want to take a moment and express my gratitude for the sympathy, compassion, empathy and understanding that has come my way. Frank is a hard loss to assimilate but I'm working on it.
