Yoga (Nidra) For Sweet Dreams led by Kristen Kolenda, ERYT-500 Therapeutic Yoga Teacher
Sunday January 19th, 2020 5:30 pm -- 7:00 pm Cost: $20 No previous Yoga experience necessary.
This 90 minute class will begin with gentle movements and breathing exercises as we begin to tap into our parasympathetic nervous system. You will learn Yoga based tools that can influence your heart rate, blood pressure and ability to rest. The practice will then ease into supported restorative postures and end with a long guided Yoga Nidra Meditation.
Yoga Nidra is a traditional form of deep relaxation and meditation. It is sometimes referred to as Yogic Sleep. It is described as a state of consciousness that is between being awake and being asleep. It is a state of both deep relaxation and meditation.
